The assault resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
